Well they done got hitched

My boy got hitched, and although this is extremely informal, and definitely not your typical wedding .  This was a hard shoot , not only was the typical stress of preparing for a wedding, setting up cooking and what-not, and yes even the occasional FU. This was special, because TJ let me see a side of him and Michel that they kept to themselves. You can see it a little in the photos, they dropped their guard and showed us their love.

I took my time posting these, because of the emotion of the day. There was plenty of tension and I always beat myself up when it comes to my photography.  However, when all of this fell into perspective, I realized that I did what I could and delivered a truth that can only be seen in an image. That’s what I love about photography, Light and truth, there’s no quirky BS poses, no pictures of planned insta-shame or Pinterest rip-offs. All that stands is just a record of the day. I love you guys, and I’m dying to meet Jude in November.
