Wedding Reception for Carlos and Maria.

In 2009 I shot a wedding in Hudson MA, it was a typical Brides house, Church then Hall shoot, and needles to say it was beautiful. The couple was great, the wedding party was huge and of course being a wedding there where a bunch of photography challenges.

The ceremony was at  Saint Michaels Parish a beautiful catholic church in Hudson MA  with the reception to follow at the Riverview.  When  shooting a reception at this facility please take note that there’s a great open shade area located in the rear of the building, next to the soccer field to shoot your formals and groups. Another good thing to bring would be additional strobes for kicker lights for this dark reception room.  the walls are a nice shade of white so bouncing will not be problem.

the most challenging part of shooting this large group of people was getting them together, a good amount of my time was spent getting the groups together, but thankfully there was a car show next to us and one of the owners generously  let us use his cool hot rod.
